How do I confirm an order?:
Please let us know if you would like to move forward with an order we have discussed and priced for you. You will receive an email with an invoice for the payment of a 50% deposit and the full order details. Your order is confirmed once we receive this deposit payment by the Due Date in the invoice. Unpaid invoices are not activated for process by our scheduling system and therefore are not confirmed. Within 7 days of pick up/ delivery date you will receive a new incoive with the Balance Due in the order. If you place an order with less than 7 days notice you will receive only one invoice for the full amount.

What are the available pick up times? And do you deliver?:
We can schedule your pick up on the following days and times: Monday thru Friday 8 am to 6 pm & Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm. Pick up is only by appoitment. Please contact us to schedule yours. We can deliver inside the 610 loop for a $40 fee and inside Memorial Villages for a $30 delivery fee. Depending upon availability we can deliver outside these areas with a $40 delivery fee plus $1.5/mile plus tolls from our bakery 77055 zip code. The distances are calculated using Google maps shortest route for a round trip.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made before 7 days of pick up/delivery date are fully refundable. Cancellations occurring within 7 to 5 days of pick up/delivery date will receive Lovie Bakery credit, minus a 25% cancellation fee. We are unable to accept cancellations with less than 5 days’ notice, and payments are not refundable.

What is the exchange and refund policy?
Due to the artisan nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for orders as per this policy. Once your order has been picked up and signed for it by the person you designate, it is considered accepted. Please make sure that everything is correct as far as design, spelling, colors, etc. Refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored after accepting the product. Upon availability you may bring the product back in for design adjustments but this is will incur in an additional charge.
All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our bakery. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the product during transport or any time after pick-up. We will give you instructions on how to transport and store your product upon pick up. Keep in mind that our products are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled correctly.
Products' flavor and texture are both subjective to the person eating them. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture after the product has been picked up will not be honored. You may qualify for a percentage of a store credit if the product is brought back and the quality of the product is determined not to meet our bakery standards. Products must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours of pick up. Please let us know of the issue right away. Quality determination is at the discretion of Lovie Bakery only. We cannot issue refunds for products that have already been completely eaten. Store credit percents are based on how quickly the product is returned, how much has been consumed, and what we determine the quality to be. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact us within 48 hours of pick up.
A refund can be provided only in the following case: If you come to our bakery for pick up or if upon delivery the product does not meet your expectations, we will give you a refund minus a 25% cancellation fee. This refund will be given as a store credit and no cash refunds will be given. Please keep in mind that if we give you a refund, you can not keep the product. We are not responsible for any expense you may incur for replacing our product. We do not give refunds under any other circumstances. Refunds are only given within 7 days.
If for some reason something in your product is not completed as stated on your order, we will make necessary changes right away. Please understand that every order is hand-made. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to the interpretation of our bakers, keep in mind that color shades may vary. You can provide us with pictures for inspiration or duplication but we cannot guarantee the exact duplication of the work done by other people.
