Non food Product Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Non Food Product Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Non Food Product Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Non Food Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Non food Product Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: 1606 East Rose Terrace Ln, Houston, Texas, 77055, USA.
Non Food Product Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Non Food Product Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 1606 East Rose Terrace Ln, Houston, Texas, 70055, USA.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Exchange and Refund for Food Products
Due to the artisan nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for orders as per this policy. Once your order has been picked up, it is considered accepted. Please make sure that everything is correct as far as design, spelling, colors, etc. Refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored after accepting the product. Upon availability you may bring the product back in for design adjustments but this is will incur in an additional charge.
All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our bakery. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the product during transport or any time after pick-up. We will give you instructions on how to transport and store your product upon pick up. Keep in mind that our products are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled correctly.
Products' flavor and texture are both subjective to the person eating them. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture after the product has been picked up will not be honored. You may qualify for a percentage of a store credit if the product is brought back and the quality of the product is determined not to meet our bakery standards. Products must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours of pick up. Please let us know of the issue right away. Quality determination is at the discretion of Lovie Bakery only. We cannot issue refunds for products that have already been completely eaten. Store credit percents are based on how quickly the product is returned, how much has been consumed, and what we determine the quality to be. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact us within 48 hours of pick up.
A refund can be provided only in the following case: If you come to our bakery for pick up or if upon delivery the product does not meet your expectations, we will give you a refund minus a 25% cancellation fee. This refund will be given as a store credit and no cash refunds will be given. Please keep in mind that if we give you a refund, you can not keep the product. We are not responsible for any expense you may incur for replacing our product. We do not give refunds under any other circumstances. Refunds are only given within 7 days.
If for some reason something in your product is not completed as stated on your order, we will make necessary changes right away. Please understand that every order is hand-made. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to the interpretation of our bakers, keep in mind that color shades may vary.
Cancellation for Food Products
Cancellations made before 7 days of pick up/delivery date are fully refundable. Cancellations occurring within 7 to 5 days of pick up/delivery date will receive Lovie Bakery credit, minus a 25% cancellation fee. We are unable to accept cancellations with less than 5 days’ notice, and payments are not refundable.
Cancellation for Class and Parties
We will need 3 weeks notice for any cancellation or reschedule of the class/ party. There will be no refunds given for your previously paid party if you must cancel or reschedule your party for any reason. We will gladly offer you the next date available. If you have to cancel due to inclement weather, we must have a 24 hours notice. Lovie Bakery reserves the right at all times to cancel parties and classes should issues arrive due to the safety of our staff or conflict between parties.
